This is a very good place to enjoy with a family and friends. Not very far from Boston. You can enjoy different activities including a swim on the small pools and kayaking. They have a nice small beach which will be crowded on summer days. The day parking fee is $8 per vehicle from memorial day to labor day. You can enjoy some BBQ too as the picnic area will provide plenty.
Reasonable rental rates for kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards. Bath houses. Beautiful park. Will sometimes fill up on hot summer weekends and gates close temporarily until parking becomes available again.
This park is very nice. The only negative is the police patrols. Is this really necessary? It is very nice to swim here (open water) because there are no motorized boats permitted.
Beautiful park with a lake to go swimming in. Picnic tables and bathrooms are all here. Families can have a nice get together here.
